The Flag Tours Florida

The Flag made its way to Florida without Kristy and Mary and was signed by Lt. Governor Jennings. Kristy and Mary plan to take the flag back to Florida for an official flag ceremony before the end of 2004. Check back for an update on this adventure.

The Mental Health Flag - Shedding Light on Mental Health Issues
The following URL (www.netmountain.net/kristyworthen) provides a link to a site which describes the efforts of Kristy Worthen, a 23 year-old diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, to raise public awareness regarding mental health. Her efforts are being sponsored by the National Lieutenant Governor's Association and she's been in about 16 States to date including Florida, Massachusetts, Texas, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.
